Smita Roy is a MSc student in the School of Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia, under the supervision of Dr. Craig Mitton. She completed her BS and MS in Nutrition and Food Science from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Smita joined the C2E2 team in September 2023 as a Graduate Research Assistant working with Dr. Craig Mitton. Before that she worked for 4 years in malnutrition treatment and prevention program at UN-WFP, Bangladesh. Smita’s research interests include health economics, malnutrition, epidemiology, and policy research.
