Bio
Olivia Tseng is a practicing family physician, a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UBC Department of Family Practice, and a research member of the Centre for Clinical Evaluation and Epidemiology. She supervises Family Practice residents and medical students at the UBC Health Clinic. As a clinic leader, she promotes office efficiency through strategic planning in EMR and payments. Outside her clinic and research work, she serves professional organizations that includes the Vancouver Division of Family Practice, BC Family Doctors, and the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Care. Dr. Tseng’s research interest is to promote quality evidence-based, and patient-centred primary care in a multi-disciplinary team setting. Her research generates evidence to inform healthcare planning and facilitates care with health technology and billing models. She is a co-investigator for research projects associated with virtual and health technology assessments. Dr. Tseng has received multiple research awards, including an investigator award from the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institution in 2020 and a national Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation fellowship. She completed her residency training at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, BC, and PhD and Clinician Scholar Training at UBC.
