Prachi Khanna

Bio

Prachi Khanna is a graduate student in epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the University of British Columbia. She is working with Don Griesdale at the Centre for Clinical Epidemiology & Evaluation investigating lung transplant outcomes in British Columbia. She completed her Bachelor of Science in biology and professional certification in Infection prevention and control at the University of British Columbia. Prachi brings a rich background in patient-oriented qualitative and quantitative research in both adult chronic disease and pediatric chronic pain. With a strong interest in health systems and patient-centered care, Prachi is committed to improving health care decision-making through cross-sector collaboration. Prachi serves on the Health Technologies and Systems Expert Committee at Canada’s Drug Agency and is actively collaborating on Healthcare Excellence Canada’s Health Equity Framework. Prachi serves on the Executive Steering Committee for Critical Care BC’s health improvement network. Prachi enjoys birdwatching, long walks in forests and writing poetry.
