Rishika Selvakumar

Bio

Rishika Selvakumar is a PhD student in the Interdisciplinary Studies Graduate Program in the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies at the University of British Columbia. She holds a BSc and a Master of Public Health, both from UBC. Prior to her PhD, she worked in health system environments with Fraser Health Authority and the Provincial Health Services Authority, supporting projects related to mental health, health systems improvement, and planetary health. Her doctoral research is co-supervised by Drs. Craig Mitton and Daniel Vigo and will focus on youth mental health, with particular emphasis on health economics and policy to support equitable, sustainable systems transformation.
